Our Core Values

Privacy by design

Share availability, not your whole diary. People stay in control of what others see and when they see it.

IRL over endless chat

Getting plans out of the group chat, connecting with friends, communities and local businesses.

Built for groups

From two friends to whole communities, coordination should feel fair and fast for everyone.

Meet Our Founder

Catherine Mary Said

Catherine Mary Said is the Founder and CEO of GoodTimes, an award-winning AI-powered social planning platform helping people find the time to connect in real life. By removing scheduling friction across consumer, business and community systems, GoodTimes makes it easy for friend groups to align times and places to book, without compromising privacy.

Bootstrapped and built without a technical background, GoodTimes began as Catherine’s solution to a personal pain point: missing appointments, birthdays and milestones because fragmented calendars made showing up harder than it should be. Her expertise in night-time economy policy strengthened her conviction of how deeply this problem impacted both individuals and small businesses.

Catherine conducted months of research and hundreds of interviews, grounding GoodTimes in real behavioural insight. Within weeks, Catherine began winning national tech competitions, later earning Best AI Pitch Australia 2025 (judged by Google), USYD’s Genesis Program and speaking at several summits.

Driven by the belief that technology should bring people together, Catherine is building GoodTimes to restore genuine connections between friends, communities and businesses in real life.
